Edwardian Beech Commode Chair *

This is a big, heavy, we think beech, just-about-antique chair (around 100 years old). Oodles of character - includes pot and pot cover, rare survivors and highly collectable. The lovely caned seat needs renewing, perhaps an excuse for starting an caning class? Or you could use a big cushion over it, as we have. When did you last see one?
